For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. -- 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Who We Are

The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, which traces its roots to an anniversary date of 1908.  The church was founded with the goal of spreading the message of scriptural holiness (Christ-living) across the lands.

We Are a Christian People

We believe that God offers to everyone forgiveness, peace, joy, purpose, love, meaning in life, and the promise of heaven when life is over through a personal relationship with Him.

We Are a Holiness People

God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness and empowers us to a life of victory over sin.

We Are a Missional People

As a sent people, we respond to the call of Christ to live our lives empowered by the Holy Spirit to "go into all the world" and witness to others.  Our mission begins in worship, and continues in our discipleship and maturation process as we minister to our world through compassion and evangelism.
